So the week passed with me spending time having group study with my coursemates. And the day of my birthday finally arrives. This time it was a proper birthday celebration but we decided to keep the celebration as simple as possible as the exams are due next week. So we head to a small burger stall near an apartment in front of MMU and we have the normal birthday song, candle blowing and cake distributing. But, before all that were to happen, they forced a t-shirt on me and after that i could see everyone else was looking at me and laughing and pointing at me. Darn, not until when I reached home did I realized why everyone was laughing at me.
and..back
In the end, they gave me a gold key with the digits "21" carved on its handle. This is the first time I have received gold presents.

After the first week of exams, i celebrated my birthday (again!), this time with my friends from my secondary school years. I was treated to a lunch at Nando's and I have one more birthday cake to eat! It also means another wish for me too! My birthday presents and card however was to follow soon after.
And my birthday card and presents arrived just yesterday. We have a usual mamak session and I ended up with 2 birthday presents! TWO! woohoo! The first one I received is a dreamcatcher. It is soooo cool! I first saw it on the tele promoting a movie with the same name. It was a preview and I remembered vividly the title with the actual dreamcatcher as its background. Ever since then, I wanted one dreamcatcher myself. I didn't watched the movie though.

My second present was given to me by Ray. It is a potrait with photos of me and my friends in various gatherings. It really brings back fond memories. Basically, I really love my time spent in my secondary school. Compared to the stressful uni life now and even more stressful worklife in the future, life in secondary school was like heaven! Everything was sooooo relaxed and everyone was sooooo fun to be with. Thank you Esther for the nice photos and the design, and thank you for making me going all emotional...

Last but definitely not the least is my handmade birthday card. You can receive alot of birthday cards, but how many handmade ones do YOU have? I have friends who are very creative and great in handicrafts. THANK YOU, DAPHNE!
MY Birthday Card!
However, reading the messages that was left by my friends in the card set me wondering as well, when have I become not "kuai" anymore? Since when was I mischievous in the first place?
anyway...
